This is a scooter for young teenagers of age
12+. Its stronger than the E100 and E125 both with respect to
the chasis, and the motor. It can reach a top speed of 12 MPH
with its 200W motor. Its running time is longer than the
aforementioned models, with around 45 minutes of continuous
battery usage.
The E200 has a full sized deck, an
adjustable handlebar and is capable of carrying a rider of
up to 200 lbs, so most consumers report that Dad uses it almost
as much as the person the E200 was bought for.
The standard version has no seat, however,
the Razor E200S model has a built in seat, which costs
approximatelly $20 more. Download the Razor
E200 owners manual.
Consumer Feedback
"I bought this for my 8yr. olds 7th
birthday to replace the blue
electric scooter, "Razor E100" he
had. He loves the color green and
really likes the scooter but the
battery did not last long and the
chain came loose a couple of times.
It would probably be a good idea to
get an extra battery and tighten
the chain a bit."

"Bought this hunk of metal in
November 2007 for my 5 year old. I
call it a hunk of metal because
thats basically what it is now.
Under a year I have had to repair
the rear end because of some
grinding noise that began to happen
within a month of riding it. Now
the battery won't even hold a
charge."

"When we received the scooter
everything looked fine. However,
after we put it together and
charged the battery it would not
run more than 30 seconds. We
contacted Razor (paperwork which
came with the scooter said to
contact them with any problems)and
they told us the entire
battery/charging housing would need
to be replaced."

"Easy to assemble, followed
instructions exactly as far as
charging the battery, etc., and
have been extremely pleased - my
12-year-old daughter LOVES it, and
we've had no problems with the
battery not lasting.Would
definitely recommend this product
to anyone whose child wants a
motorized scooter. "

"Purchased this for my goddaughter
who is 9. SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES IT.
It charges quickly, is easy to ride
and it goes much faster than I
thought it would! Got the same
scooter for my nephew but with the
seat (E200), but it does not go as
fast, and charge runs out quickly
!!!"

Based on the above consumer testimonials, we
can say that the e200 has an adequate
price/quality ratio. There are issues with the battery running
out of steam or being faulty, but the manufacturers 90 warranty
means that bad batteries will be replaced within that time
frame. The E200 costs around $160, which is a good price for
the all around value.
Some users reported that they needed to
adjust the break lever, to make it easier to squezze by young
children.
