This is a review of the X-Treme X-140 Electric Scooter.

This is a scooter for children aged 8+. Its motor produces 140W of power with a top speed of 10 MPH, which is still safe for children, as long as they wear protective gear. This scooter has a range of 6-8 miles, which is slightly larger than competitors in this class. Rear drum brakes are standard in the class, with the X-140 integrating a power saving feature, where the throttle is disengaged upon pulling the brake.

This model has an aluminum with non-slip grip tape and polished-steel forks, which make it a very attractive scooter. It also has a high tension steel chasis, which makes it very rugger and resistant to damage. The X140 electric scooter has 6" plastic wheels, which are considered small in its class. The scooter can be folded in half behind the front wheel (like a standard kick-scooter), making transport very easy.

Consumer Feedback

Based on the above consumer testimonials, we can say that the X 140 is not the best quality electric scooter available on the market. Several customers had problems with the electrical parts of the scooter not working correctly. However, the chasis proves to be very sturdy, it can be dropped, jumped, and put through the rigorous use any young kid is going to give to it and be used every day with no problems.

Due to the small sized wheels, it is recommended for use on flat, level ground without debris such as rocks and gravel.
